Thank you to the CIPR – Chartered Institute of Public Relations for shortlisting my book Making Waves: ‘PR strategies to transform your maritime business’ 🌊🚢 in the best publication category at the forthcoming #PRideAwards in October🏆
Making Waves is a reflection on 20 years as a journalist and PR. But it is also the result of study and the input of leading PR thought leaders and journalists.
I must thank the brilliant CIPR trainers Andrew Bruce Smith Stuart Bruce Alison Arnot ChartPR FCIPR for their insight into social media, crisis and strategy as well as our small team at Polaris and the many maritime journalists who gave advice on planning media visits and what the media wants from PRs.
I am also grateful to the International Maritime Organization Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) Clarksons Research Lloyd’s Register Isle of Man Ship Registry Roxtec UK & Ireland for their input.

Special thanks to my publisher Rethink Press Lucy McCarraher Joe Gregory for doing such a professional job producing Making Waves on paperback 📕 kindle📲 https://lnkd.in/d3F_wrq and audiobook 🎧 https://lnkd.in/dSi2p8YV across platforms including Amazon and Audible.
