Polaris is growing in the American maritime industry and has recently returned from visiting client Advanced Polymer Coatings in Cleveland Ohio.
Family owned APC manufactures tank coatings for ships and accounts for 12pc of the global market,. Polaris is helping to raise awareness and shape its PR strategy.

A brilliant week visiting maritime client Advanced Polymer Coatings Inc. located in America’s storied rust belt in Cleveland Ohio. So much was discussed and debated it was inspiring to observe an established family manufacturing company hungry to grow and improve the industry for the better.
APC’s product the MarineLINE tank coating is specified on chemical and product tankers worldwide and helps slash emissions, cut fuel costs as well as cutting slops and maximising crew time. It is the kind of X-factor product the industry needs as it faces the daunting decarbonisation mountain.
We’ve got a sackful of ideas for the Polaris team to support APC led by its President David Keehan and help tell its story authentically.
Oh and I now have an NBA team – go Cleveland Cavaliers!
