Polaris launches Making Waves in America

Polaris News

Polaris MD Ben Pinnington has launched his new PR book Making Waves: ‘PR strategies to transform your maritime business’ in America.

Ben launched the book at Polaris’ stand at the famous CMA Shipping conference in Stamford Connecticut and also spoke at the Shipping Insight virtual event as part of North America Shipping Week.

He said: “A terrific few days exhibiting at #cmashipping and SHIPPINGInsight in the great maritime centres of New York and Connecticut. Coming from Liverpool it was particularly special for me to launch my PR book Making Waves in America.
Growing up I used to dream of visiting New York and it still feels like a ‘pinch me’ privilege to be here. I would like to thank everyone who made me welcome, it was great to meet so many people passionate about maritime.
It was especially good to see seafarer welfare as a major focus of the event.”

In addition, I heard powerful support to commemorate the Battle of the Atlantic’s 80th anniversary and interest in the UK’s national Memorial in Liverpool which Polaris helps promote. I hope there can be more American involvement in this important educational project. See:

I would like to thank Christophe Cahen of Informa who assured me the gala dinner was black tie and we were the only ones in tuxedos! Informa and Carleen Lyden Walker at Shipping Insight did a brilliant job to get the events off the ground. “

Making Waves ? ?is published by Rethink Press and is available in print, kindle ? and audio book on Amazon, Audible Apple Books as well as Barnes and Noble in America.
