“2020 has been a year of challenge and change and we are pleased to finish it positively with lots of exciting news planned for January and new business wins around the world,” he said. “As the world wrestles with covid we see strong demand for PR and marketing services especially in the maritime and engineering sectors which depend on exports and global profile. Companies still need to get their message out at a time when travelling and trade fairs have become extremely limited. PR provides one solution for maintaining global awareness and encouraging sales and opportunities.”
Ben said 2020 highlights for Polaris include being voted Professional Services Business of the Year at the Mersey Maritime Ltd Awards in March and being voted onto CBI (Confederation of British Industry) North West Regional council in January. He said the company has further just signed a deal for his forthcoming book ‘Making Waves: PR and Comms in the Maritime Industry.’
“We also took great pride in championing the cause of seafarers in this most difficult of years for them through Liverpool Seafarers Centre our nominated charity,” he said. “May we wish all our team, clients and contacts a restful Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.”
