Polaris has been shortlisted at the forthcoming Mersey Maritime Ltd Industry Awards 2020 as Professional Services company of the year.
The award follows a strong year for Polaris which saw the company grow turnover by 10pc and team to six. Highlights in the year included supporting Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited royal ship naming of the Sir David Attenborough polar ship, promoting the Port of Gdansk Authority led delegation to Singapore celebrating 50 years of diplomatic ties between Poland and Singapore as well as promotion of the Maritime Economy Forum Gdynia, and the U.K. pavilion at the Marintec shipbuilding fair in Shanghai. Polaris managing director Ben Pinnington was also elected to the CBI (Confederation of British Industry) North West Regional Council following 25 years working in the region. Polaris further undertook extensive work for our clients including Hero Cycles, Roxtec UK & Ireland Morris & Spottiswood Liverpool Seafarers Centre, Intermarine, Oman Shipping, Griffon Hoverwork, Port of Portland and Marine Components International. Our worked spanned PR and media relations, creative design, brochures, website build, photography, film, award applications, trade fair support, social media and business development.
