Polaris Media has secured its first Portuguese account promoting maritime, port and logistics hub Blue Atlantic.
The 96-hectare site is located in one of Europe’s leading maritime industrial zones, 40km south of Lisbon. It is being primed for investors targeting Iberia and mainland Europe offering one of the fastest and most efficient routes in and out of the continent, bypassing the congested Mediterranean.
Polaris Media co-founder Sam Pinnington said it marks a significant breakthrough for the PR firm which is targeting new business in Portuguese speaking nations.
“Blue Atlantic is owned by Sapec which is a major player in Portugal’s industrial and holding services sector,” he said. “We are helping raise the profile of the Blue Atlantic site, which is located on prized industrial land with seaport access along global shipping routes and road and rail links to mainland Europe.
“Our latest news release announced plans for an 800metre quay to berth two Panamax vessels showcasing its formidable maritime trade potential. This has been picked up by more than 20 international maritime titles and more localised Iberian media ramping up awareness and profile for the site.
“Polaris has been able to successfully export it services to Europe, India, the Middle East and America due to our expertise as British trained journalists, and knowledge and connections within international trade media. We see major potential for our exports division which remains a key focus for 2018.
“Polaris has a compelling offering for overseas clients with rigorous PR campaigns targeting English written titles, read around the world. We provide additional support with enewsletters, social media, trade shows, award applications, speech writing and broader copy writing services. We can also open doors for overseas clients looking to build connections in the UK.”
