Polaris Media Management Ltd is a family run PR and digital publishing firm. We are based in the Port of Liverpool City Region and Manchester two of Britain’s biggest industrial cities.

Polaris was founded in 2011 by journalist brothers Ben and Sam Pinnington. Today it is run by managing director Ben Pinnington  supported by a team of 11 staff in full-time and consultant positions.

Our writers are trained and qualified with the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) or are specialists in their field. We are members of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CiPR) and bound by its code of conduct.

We have broad experience of working with some of Britain’s biggest brands including the CBI, Cammell Laird Shiprepairers and Ship Builders, The Forum of Private Business and The Scottish Parliament. Today prominent projects we are working on include the PR campaign for the Sir David Attenborough polar research ship being built at client Cammell Laird and the international PR for the City Palace museum in Udaipur India, one of the world’s finest heritage destinations.

In each year of trading Polaris has been profitable and we have reinvested back into the company growing in the UK and overseas.

As a small company we are conscious we have to offer clients something different and compelling. As a result we have developed specialisms in core sectors covering: maritime, engineering, construction, energy and exports.

By developing expertise and influential networks in these areas we have grown across the North West of England and the UK working with a wide range of  private businesses from £800,000 to £150million turnover.

Our exports division, meanwhile, is adding value to our offering and we are expanding into India, the Gulf and Chicago in the United States. We believe our growing knowledge and contacts book in these markets gives us an advantage and competitive edge to help exporters.

To support our exports drive, and exporter clients, we have diversified and innovated our offering into digital publishing with the launch of the first news websites dedicated to UK -Oman and UK -India affairs:  www.OmanGBnews.com and www.IndiaGBnews.com 

Our overseas memberships include Illinois Chamber of Commerce, the British Business Forum Oman and the Anglo Omani Society. We further have representatives on the ground in Delhi, India and Chicago, USA.

In our core territory of the UK we are members of Liverpool, Manchester and Wirral Chambers of Commerce as well as Professional Liverpool, TiE North, Mersey Maritime and the Society of Maritime Industries in London, where we sit on the maritime equipment committee.
